What a blessing it is to express my discipleship through supporting the music ministry at Baton United Methodist Church.

After studying music and spending a short time as a full-time musician, my professional path took a different direction—one that did not include performing. Even so, music was never far from my heart. In 1999, I was blessed with the opportunity to return to ministry through music when I began serving as Director of Music at Baton United Methodist Church.

My education and experience prepared me for this role as a way to deepen and live out my discipleship. God uses all of our gifts, often in ways we do not initially expect, and I continue to find that truth both humbling and inspiring.
