When I attend your church, Will I be welcomed into a safe space?

Yes! At BUMC we welcome everyone regardless of their age, race, status, identity or orientation. We welcome diversity and strive to maintain an evnironment based on respect, acceptance and the love of Christ for everyone who walks through our doors.

What should I wear?

We say: "Come as you are." What you wear isn't important to us. What is important is you feel comfortable as you worship with us.

Are children welcome?

Absolutely. We welcome and feel blessed to have children join our worship service. We also have a nursery and volunteer nursery workers, if needed.

What should I expect during a typical service?

Our worship service is ablended service offering the reverence associated with a traditional service coupled with a more welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The music, performed by the praise band, is also a mix of traditional and contemporary. Every service is closed with a congregational hymn. The sermons are thought provoking and relatable. A typical worship service lasts about an hour. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome. 

Where should I sit during service?

We invite you to sit anywhere you feel comfortable during worship.
